Yannick Kiggen is one of Europe’s best-known bonsai artists. His passion for bonsai began at an early age and eventually took him to Japan, where he trained with the renowned master Kunio Kobayashi. There, he deepened both his technical skills and his understanding of the philosophy and aesthetics of traditional bonsai.

Today, Yannick Kiggen is the founder and owner of Yama Bonsai in Belgium. His work is characterised by precise craftsmanship, natural styling and the sustained development of high-quality bonsai. Alongside his work with exceptional trees, he shares his knowledge with enthusiasts worldwide through courses, workshops and online training.
